Challenge to Change Conference Perth Grammar and Perth High School 9th March 2018

Challenge to Change Aviva Community Fund

On Friday 9 March 2018 RASAC P&K staff participated in this conference for S2 pupils organised by senior pupils from Perth Grammar School and Perth High School which aimed to encourage a greater understanding of gender equality amongst teenagers. RASAC staff operated an information stall and provided support to a group of S3 girls who ran workshops on stereotyping.

The event was very well organised by the senior pupils and provided an energetic programme of activities which enabled the young people participating to explore and express their views about equality and gender.

We would like to extend our thanks to all Pupils for involving us in this incredible event.

Who is Making History Today?

100 years ago British women finally won the right to vote.*

The incredible work of the suffragettes – ordinary women who stopped at nothing to get their voices heard – paved the way for a century of women’s rights work in the UK.
