Vagina Monologues Final Performance in Dundee Friday 16th March 2018

Vagina Monologues Final Showing this Friday in DundeeThe final fundraising performance of the Vagina Monologues will take place in the Bonar Hall in Dundee this Friday evening at 7.30pm.

The previous performance on the 9th March 2018, which had sold out, was met with great appreciation from those who came along to support the event. Feedback has compared the event to professional performances saying that it was 'Amazing, the best performance of the monologues I've seen' another woman stated 'I think it's a show that every woman should see!'

The Vagina Monologues are based on real interviews conducted by Eve Ensler. You move from crying with laughter to sadness and pain. One person who attended said 'It had the right balance, you were laughing one moment then really moved at the next.'

Funds raised will go to WRASAC Dundee & Angus and RASAC-PK. Both are registered charities providing support to all young people and women who have been raped or sexually abused at anytime in their lives.

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre Perth & Kinross are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. This post will be responsible for the operational management of RASAC P&K Services and deputising for the Chief Executive Officer when required. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dedicated team, providing a range of Support, Prevention and Advocacy services for survivors of sexual violence living in Perth & Kinross. The post holder will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of existing and new services. The post will also involve working with a range of stakeholders to improve the identification of, and responses to, sexual violence. This will include applying and reporting to a variety of funders as required. We are looking for someone who is collaborative in their approach, has excellent inter-personal skills and is able to adapt quickly to change. A commitment to a feminist analysis of gender -based violence is essential, alongside a minimum of 2 years management/leadership experience. Current or former experience of working in the Violence Against Women sector is desirable. Funding for this position is indicative to the end of March 2025.
