Our Agency Visits and Open Days are a great opportunity for individuals to come along to find out more about what we can offer. We welcome staff, volunteers and placement students from all organisations across Perth and Kinross, or offering services to those who live in Perth & Kinross.
The Agency Visits and Open Days include:
- A short presentation that details all the services that we offer
- An opportunity to find out what support we can offer you
- A chance to see our premises (dependent on bookings being in person- most are online)
- An opportunity for you to ask any questions.
We appreciate that the dates and times may not be suitable for all. We are happy to come out to agencies to speak about the work that we do. If you are interested in this then please contact the Centre on 01738 626290

Today is International Youth Day, and the theme for this year is Different Contexts, Common Aspirations. Our Youth Ambassadors bring a diverse range of experiences to the programme, but what they have in common is the desire to be a change maker in their communities, challenging gender inequality and its effects on society.
Why is youth engagement important?
· In a study of over 30 countries, Gen Z (ages 14-29, as of 2026) were more likely than older age generations to feel there is tension between men and women in society today. (IWD 2025 survey)
· Over a quarter (28%) of Gen Z men in the UK say a man who stays home to look after his children is less of a man (IWD 2025 Survey)
· 70% of teens see real-life violence on social media (Youth Endowment Fund [YEF], 2024)
· Evidence from UK studies involving children aged 13 to 17 and meta-analyses of international studies suggest that between 5 to 27% of children have received a ‘sext’ without consent (Youth Justice Board [YJB], 2026)
· In the UK, reported rates among 13 to 17 year olds vary between 4 to 19% for the non-consensual sharing of intimate images (Youth Justice Board [YJB], 2026)
· Girls are disproportionally affected by cyberbullying compared with boys (HBSC survey for England, 2021/22)
