We are offering free Multi Agency Training to professionals working in Perth & Kinross, who may work with individuals who are affected by sexual violence.📢 📖TRAINING LEARNING OUTCOMES To improve your knowledge and skills in a range of different topics relating to sexual violence, understanding survivors’ lives and to enhance your practice. 📖TRAINING STYLE Emphasis on activities, discussion and practical tools We will be delivering a mixture of online and in person sessions. Making changes to your normal social group or activities can support you to feel less tempted to drink/use substances. Instead of meeting at home, why not meet a friend at the cinema or socialise with people who don't drink/use substances regularly? 👉Journalling. This can help you to identify patterns of thoughts/feelings and relieve stress. You could start with the prompt ‘What made me think about using alcohol/substances in the first place?’ or ‘what are three things I’m proud of?’ 👉Talk to a friend. Healthy connection is important for wellbeing, and a friendly chat might offer distraction. It doesn’t have to be about alcohol use or difficult subjects, just making contact can help you feel more positive about the day.
