Did you know that we support survivors regardless of their beliefs, backgrounds or their experiences. Survivors are at the centre of what we do – free confidential, non judgmental support. We would never judge you on your beliefs, life experiences or your background. We are all unique people shaped by the world we live and the journeys we have walked. We unpicked different news articles and looked at how titles were written to make people click on articles but also how they could create misinformation. We did activities spotting AI and looked at how we can debunk misinformation or fake media online. We also discussed the impact of misinformation on young people. If, like us, you are passionate about ending gender inequality and sexual violence or if you really want to make a difference, then we’d love to hear from you. • Our Youth Ambassadors are young people 12-18 of any gender, usually attending high school • Our student ambassadors are young people 18-25 of any gender, usually attending college and/or university If you would like to be a student or youth ambassador give us an email at prevention@rasacpk.org.uk for more informationToday, our prevention team is @perthgrammar . If you work with young people aged 12-25 and would like to find out more about RASAC sessions, please email us at prevention@rasacpk.org.ukAdvocacy Support is a safe space for you to talk freely about your choices without being judged or pressured into making any decisions. You are in control of any decisions you make. This support is all at your pace, free and confidential. This service is for over 16 year olds - we have a similar service for under 16s. Did you know that a survivor who has recently been assaulted (within 7 days) can get the forensic evidence collected without reporting to the police. This way survivors can make their own choices in their own time.💜⚖ You might need medical support or more information on what reporting is like, or you might just need some time to make a decision. That is okay, we can support you through this. We understand that the days following a sexual assault can be very difficult and Police reporting may feel overwhelming. SARCS facilitates a forensics examination where evidence is gathered without Police reporting, enabling you to report at a later date if you decide to.
