2026 Multi-Agency Training - May 2026

We are offering free Multi Agency Training to professionals working in Perth & Kinross, who may work with individuals who are affected by sexual violence.

TRAINING LEARNING OUTCOMES To improve your knowledge and skills in a range of different topics relating to sexual violence, understanding survivors’ lives and to enhance your practice. 

TRAINING STYLE Emphasis on activities, discussion and practical tools

We will be delivering a mixture of online and in person sessions. All in person sessions will take place at Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre - 7 George Street, Perth, PH1 5JY

  • 5th May - 10am-1:00pm Gender Based Violence (Online Training)
  • 12th May - 10am-4pm Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (In Person Training)
  • 13th May - 10am-1pm Gender and Sexualisation (Online Training)
  • 19th May - 10am-4pm Responding to Disclosure in a Trauma Informed Way (In Person Training)

All feedback is welcome, from how we can improve our premises and the welcome we provide, to how your support sessions are going to any improvement that can be made to ensure you get the most out of support. Statistics from the National Autistic Society show that 8/10 autistic people experience mental ill health at some point in their lives, and 55% of autistic people avoid going out because they are worried about how people will treat them. At RASAC Perth and Kinross, we support survivors of sexual abuse and violence including survivors who are autistic. We support survivors according to their needs and how they feel safe and comfortable. We also provide sensory and tactile objects and tools in our support rooms such as fidget toys, soft blankets, and soft lighting. We run School Drop Ins at many of the High Schools in Perth and Kinross. These Drop In are an opportunity for you to ask questions, find out about what we do and find information you might need. • Want to know more about consent? • Are you worried about yourself or someone you know? • Want to talk about what you learned in one of our sessions? • Want to know more about or join our Youth Ambassadors Programme? If your school is participating in the School Drop Ins we will speak about the Drop In session in our School Workshops and there will be posters on your School Information Boards and bulletin. Drop ins are open to all young people 12-18 years. Look out for posters like the one shown, to find out when the next drop in at your school is and what room it will be in. There is no need to book any appointments with RASAC, your parents or teachers, just feel free to show up on the day. Our drop ins are confidential unless any concerns arise but we will make sure to speak to you about next steps, to keep you safe. Remeber there are lots of ways for you to chat to us, so even if we are not running the Drop Ins at your school you can still ask question or find out more information.
