Inclusion & Accessibility
We want you to find support that works for you...
We are committed to making our services accessible and inclusive so that every survivor feels safe, supported, and respected. We recognise that each person’s needs are different, and we will work with you to make sure you can access support in a way that feels right for you.
- Physical accessibility: Our centre is wheelchair accessible.
- Safe and consistent spaces: If you feel more comfortable using the same room each time you visit, we will do our best to arrange this.
- Sensory considerations: We can provide low lighting, fidget toys, and weighted blankets to help create a calming environment.
- Communication support: Interpreters, including British Sign Language (BSL), can be arranged.
- Languages and materials: We provide translated materials in a number of languages to support those who may prefer to read information in their first language. We can also provide leaflets and materials in accessible formats, including Easy Read, or our support workers will be happy to talk through resources if that feels more helpful to you
- Adaptable resources: We can adapt resources to meet your needs, such as offering transcripts, captioned resources, or alternative formats.
If you have particular access needs or preferences, please let us know. We are here to listen and to adapt our services so that you feel as safe and supported as possible.
