Survivors Can't Wait Campaign
Survivors often tell us the support they received at a Rape Crisis Centre was truly life-saving. When survivors reach out for support, they need to receive it then. Not weeks or months later. But Rape Crisis Centres don’t have the resources they need to meet demand. Rape Crisis services are emergency services. They must be funded as such. We’re calling on the Scottish Government to
-
Extend emergency funding to save 28 support worker jobs
-
Commit to long term sustainable funding for Rape Crisis Centres in Scotland so no survivor has to wait
You can help us keep our waiting list down. You can make a difference to survivors living in Perth & Kinross and throughout Scotland, and it will only take you 5 minutes!
Write to your MSP to tell them that survivors can't wait.
Follow the link to the Rape Crisis Scotland website where you can find out who your MSP is, their address/email and a template for your letter. Follow the link:

All rape crisis centers in Scotland started as volunteer organisations, and at RASAC P&K we still have volunteers supporting our work. We are incredibly grateful for all our volunteers, many of whom have eventually gained employment with us.
We provide free training and induction worth over £1000 and provide support in all our volunteering opportunities.
Give us a call or email us to find out more and/or for an application pack.
