Come Volunteer with us! We could not do what we do without you.💜 All rape crisis centers in Scotland started as volunteer organisations, and at RASAC P&K we still have volunteers supporting our work. We are incredibly grateful for all our volunteers. Do you has 2-5 hours per week to spare and want to make a difference? We provide free training and induction worth over £1000 and provide support in all our volunteering opportunities.😀 Give us a call or email us to find out more and/or for an application pack. Business Line: 01738 626290 info@rasacpk.org.ukDid you know that we don’t not tell others what you tell us. Confidentiality is crucial when healing from sexual violence. Confidentiality means that we keep what you tell us to ourselves (we don’t tell others including the Police). Confidentiality is really important. It can help you feel safe enough to talk about how you feel and explore the things that have happened to you. We take your confidentiality really seriously and do all we can to keep your information confidential within the team. There are times when we might need to pass on information if we are significantly concerned about your safety or the safety of others. We will always try to talk to you first if that ever happens. Below are the circumstances where we might need to pass on information: 👉If you tell us that a child or a vulnerable adult is at risk of harm 👉If you have taken action to end your life (suicide) If we do need to speak to someone about a concern we have, we will do our best to let you know what is happening at all times. Our workers aren’t allowed to promise to keep information to themselves. #rasacpk #IBelieveYou #perthandkinross #itsnotok #listenbelievesupport #feminism #endviolenceagainstwomen #endsexualabuseAdvocacy Support is a safe space for you to talk freely about your choices without being judged or pressured into making any decisions. You are in control of any decisions you make. This support is all at your pace, free and confidential. This service is for over 16 year olds - we have a similar service for under 16s. Did you know that a survivor who has recently been assaulted (within 7 days) can get the forensic evidence collected without reporting to the police. This way survivors can make their own choices in their own time.💜⚖ You might need medical support or more information on what reporting is like, or you might just need some time to make a decision. That is okay, we can support you through this. We understand that the days following a sexual assault can be very difficult and Police reporting may feel overwhelming. SARCS facilitates a forensics examination where evidence is gathered without Police reporting, enabling you to report at a later date if you decide to. You can also be supported with other immediate healthcare needs, such as emergency contraception. https://www.rasacpk.org.uk/survivors-justice-advocacy/ #endviolenceagainstwomen #ListenBelieveSupport #rasacpk #IBelieveYou #perthandkinross #consent #traumainformedTODAY RASAC DROP IN - Come for a chat... 💜Free, confidential, non-judgemental information and support for anyone who has experienced sexual violence 💜Find out what we do and what type of support we provide 👉WHEN: Fri 11th Sept, Thurs 1st Oct & Wed 11th Nov From 12:30-1:30pm 👉WHERE: Perth Foodbank #rasacpk #endsexualviolence #PerthandKinross #EndViolenceAgainstWomen #ibelieveyou
