Sexual Violence Prevention Worker

35 hours per week, £27848 per annum

This post is currently funded until June 2022.

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre, Perth & Kinross are looking for a highly motivated and

dynamic worker to join our team. A team player with youth work experience, the successful applicant will be involved in the delivery of sexual violence prevention workshops with young people age 12-24, addressing issues around sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, sexualisation, consent and healthy relationships. Experience in project development within a youth work model would be advantageous. A commitment to preventing sexual violence and an understanding of a gendered analysis of violence against women and girls is essential. Candidates need to be skilled in engaging pro-actively with all young people, including hard to reach groups. RASAC P&K welcome applications from black and minority ethnic women, LGBT women and women with disabilities. Please note, only women applicants will be considered (under Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010). Successful applicants will be subject to PVG.
