With the recent media’s focus on violence against women and girls we have had many conversations about personal safety and all the things we do as women and girls to minimize the risk of being harmed, both in our home and when we are out.

It is very important that we highlight that the responsibility of women and girls being safe never lies with women and girls but with the perpetrators of harassment and violence.

RASAC P&K are looking to gather personal stories of all the little and big things we all do (or think about) as women and girls to ‘keep ourselves safe’. Perhaps you have a story to share which highlights everyday sexism and the wider experiences of women and girls lives.
