Our Support Services
We offer phone support via our helpline 01738 630 965. Our helpline operates Monday 10:00 – 12:00, Wednesday 12:00 – 14:00, Friday from 14:00 - 16:00. Outwith these hours, or if a worker is unavailable, you can leave a message and a worker will discreetly return your call as soon as possible (our number is always withheld). If you are calling between the hours of 6pm and midnight, you can contact the Rape Crisis Scotland National Helpline on 08088 01 03 02.
Face to face support
We offer face to face support, either as a single appointment or on an ongoing basis. Our face to face support usually takes place at our city centre premises, but if you would prefer another location this can be discussed with a worker. For further information about this you may wish to view our Outreach page. Our office hours are 0930 – 1630, but if you are not able to meet during these times we will do our best to offer you an alternative time that is suitable. If you would prefer, you can bring someone with you to your first appointment. However, if you are coming to our premises we request that you bring a female.
At present we run a weekly Arts & Crafts group for survivors who access our support service and other groups are offered on rotation. Please click on the link below for our exciting new group programme. Survivors can also take part in quarterly Service User Forum. There is also group support available to Family and Friends of survivors (the survivor does not need to be a service user of RASAC to attend). Please enquire at firstname.lastname@example.org for the most up-to-date programme or contact Ruth on 01738 630 965.
Drop-In at RASAC
A weekly service where you can pop in for a chat, or for more information about our services. This is open to any woman and/or young person who has experienced sexual violence at anytime in their life. You do not need to be engaged in support at RASAC to access the Drop In. On every Tuesday 12noon – 2pm.
Our support Email is password protected, only accessed by support workers and is confidential. You can email us at any time, however support workers will only reply during office hours. We endeavour to respond to all emails within 48 hours.
